Tier System and equipment
The Tier system is in place to keep everyone safe and sound. As the Tiers increase so does the complexity of the equipment that can be used. Everybody is welcome at every Tier, however we do need to ensure you are safe and comfortable with the tools and machinery at each Tier level. To do this, book a workshop tour before your first slot of workshop time. The workshop tour is an informal chat and tour of the workshop. Once we've assessed your current level we can make a plan for upskilling, so you can move on to a higher Tier level if you want to. See here

This is just a brief list of our tools and equipment, if there's a particular piece of equipment you might need please get in contact. If you need to get up-skilled to use the next tier up take a look at our skills classes. Please don't be intimidated or insulted by the Tier system, its there to keep everyone safe and to keep everyone's project safe from damage - we don't want any wrecked Dream Machines because of somebody's lack of competence. But just because you can't do it now, you can definitely get up-skilled so you can in the future. When doing a multi tier job you only pay for the higher tiers as you use them
